Yes, Biden was pro-life earlier in his career. From what I can tell he’s taken pro-choice positions for about a decade (he voted in favor of the “partial birth” abortion ban in 2003). Al Gore did the same kind of thing earlier in his career. I eagerly await an explanation of why I am expected to care. If he were changing his mind about abortion a few times a week, like some candidates I can think of, that would be something of an issue. ---

actually, Biden’s views didn’t change on the morality of abortion. What changed is his views on its legal status. I agree with Biden. Abortion is wrong, but there are some cases where it’s necessary or the lesser evil. In all cases, government should err on the side of individual liberty. ---

Great minds evolve. Look at Thomas Jefferson over his years; and Abraham Lincoln. Psychological inflexibility-the rigor mortis that we see on the right and some in the far left, is nothing to be proud of. The constant flip flopping within a short period of time- an election cycle- is the sign of lacking an inner core. In mental health terms, splitting; and is a fatal flaw imo. ---

You’ve got a point. Biden was opposed to abortion in the past, therefore, I, a pro-choice person, should vote for the candidate who _currently_ is opposed to abortion. I see no flaw in your logic.
