Why Kerry?

Wasn’t it just before Iowa that the Republicans wanted to face off against Dean, because HE was so unelectable? Is that the new wacky strategy, to play up the front-runner, implying that he must be bad if the Republican pundits like him?

I don’t see why Democrats should pay any attention to the Republican opinion of the candidates.

Or, at the very least, recycle the same arguments.

Last week: “Dean is unelectable! He’s a radical liberal!”
This week: “Kerry is unelectable! He’s a radical liberal!”

But then, are you really surprised by this tactic?
