Yeah, I don’t understand the problem here, for two reasons (all covered above, but here’s my version of them): -Yes, people can look stuff up, but you cant _discuss_ a topic with a reference article - that’s what people generally want when they post topics here - discussion - not just _answers_. -‘Bother’? No. Bothering people is when you knock on their front door in the middle of the night and get them out of bed to ask them about nougat. Posting a thread (that you can easily just ignore) on a message board (that you aren’t even compelled to attend) isn’t _‘bother’_ by any kind of reasonable definition. ---

As the poster who is being ranted about, I would like to say that thanks to the OP, this thread has accomplished my goal much better than the original thread could. Who here doesn’t know what nougat is now? Sure, I could have looked it up myself, but would any of the rest of you learned something? It isn’t the answer, it is the sharing of answers.
