And presumably women as well. A [wonderful film](http://bit.ly/nxxAro) from 1968 that I remember very fondly. A wee bit dated, but still some great stuff in it!

“Allah be praised! I’ve invented the zero!”

“What?”

“Nothing, nothing.”

Saul Bass was a terrific talent. He invented a whole new style of movie titles in the 50s with films like [North by Northwest](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIlqatMQSgI) and directed the underappreciated SF horror film **Phase IV**

From 1972-1978 (7th-12 grade), we saw that film in one class or another at least two or three times a year. I even saw it in Sunday school once. The ping pong ball was my favorite part.

An amazing piece. We got a copy of it and showed it to the youngsters who hadn’t seen it in class. I still have a copy of it – unfortunately it’s on one-inch videotape.
