Why no Christmas stamps at post office?

I had no problem getting the religious Christmas stamps in November. Then I realized I should have gone with getting the children’s book animal stamps for my Chrsitmas cards instead. I only got one sheet of those, and I should have gotten 4. Poo.

They have a new Florida wetlands set out too that’s pretty cool.

The best stamp of the year was the Sugar Ray Robinson stamp. He could have whipped Santa Claus’ ass any day even if they were in different weight divisions.

I bought the Madonna and Child stamps and the D.C. comics stamps.

You might have to get used to that. The post office I use has had the “store approach” for years now, and they’ve used “Ask at the counter” signs for the Warner Brothers cartoon stamps, the 9/11 and breast cancer semi-postals, and others I can’t recall now. Any stamp that proves to be popular is likely to be held at the counter, at least some of the time. At times the only stamps NOT being held at the counter are the boring non-commemoratives (the flags, the Crops of the Americas, the flower stamps this past summer).
