Wasn’t the male lead in _Dirty Pretty Things_ something resembling a bellhop? Or at least some kind of hotel… person. I forget. ---

Bell hop as main character: Louden Swain in _Vision Quest_. Granted, he was a high school student and wrestler primarily, but his job was a bell hop. ---

Surely the definitive garbage man was Sammy Davis in the original _Ocean’s Eleven_!
