Well, that is subjective of course. Home runs aren’t a required element of entertainment in baseball, nor smashes a required element of entertainment in table tennis, but people like them.
Of course it’s subjective. I’m not here trying to convince people to like the WNBA; I gave that up years ago, for my own mental health (the same reason why I refuse to click on @txjim’s blind YouTube link). I’m just easily triggered by people calling it “inferior.”
If you don’t find women’s basketball entertaining, there’s nothing that I can show you that’s going to change your mind. I do, however, take exception to the suggestion that dunking is what makes basketball entertaining; tons of people seem to find Stephen Curry to be entertaining, and he doesn’t dunk…
Dunking AND accurate shooting. Which woman’s ball does not have. It’s an ugly sport to watch when played by women.

The league average FG% for the NBA in 2015-16 was 45.2 percent. The league average FG% for the WNBA in 2016 was 44.1 percent. I guess .450 is the cutoff point for “accurate shooting.” :dubious:

Now, Im having trouble finding WNBA ratings because they are so embarrassingly low, and everyone loves to cover up this leagues lack of success out of fear of being accused of chauvinism, but every number Ive seen recently is 0.5 or less.
No one cares about the WNBA. Its inferior, unwatchable product. THATS why its not in NBA video games. And if included, I wont play that game option nor will anyone else but a handful of high school girl basketball players with stars in their eyes.

Eh wasn’t trying to be a prick, just guessing the WNBA FG% numbers are year after year below that of the NBA. Plus, theres no way the defense in the WNBA is even close to that of the NBA, so that is probably why the field goal pct is so close.
Yes, I don’t like the WNBA, but by far, Im not the only one.
