There are several hospitals in Thailand that specialize in treatment for foreigners seeking lower costs or (if they’re from places with socialized health care and long waiting lists) faster treatment. I know several people in Hong Kong who go down there for that, and I hear people are coming from Europe/US. Does the US-Canada cost differential have anything to do with the impact of malpractice insurance on mediacal bills?
