Let’s see: Sweet Caroline Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show Solitary Man Thank the Lord for the Night Time (which is now stuck in my head, thankyewverymuch) You Don’t Bring Me Flowers is cheesy but beautiful I don’t really know any of his non-radio stuff. When I was a kid, “Song Sung Blue” (my older sister was a huge fan of ND) I Am, I Said Thank the Lord for the Nightime Hot August Night He’s Not Heavy, He’s My Brother Solitary Man Beautiful Noise Lots. but I tend to hate the ones I hate (either love 'em or hate 'em, that’s me) so, I cringe at Blue Jeans, Turn on My Heartlight, Love on the Rocks, Coming to America–almost anything post Jonathon Livingston Seagull. I like his rock days, not his lounge act days. YMMV. ---

(Either that or he had a bad case of constipation while singing it, and he was straining to get it out. Your choice.) As for his other songs, it really depends on the mood I’m in. Er, yesterday, I think was the last time I heard it, Neil Diamond is in heavy rotation on my headphones when I’m exercising. Heh. But I know what you mean, though, one doesn’t hear it very often on the radio. It’s hard to pick my absolute favorites, because really, I like just about anything he does, but at the moment my favorites are “Brooklyn Roads,” “If You Know What I Mean,” “Sweet Caroline” (of course), “September Morn,” and “You Got to Me.” I have to skip past “He’s Not Heavy” if I’m listening to Neil in public, because cheese-fest or not, it makes me cry like nobody’s business.
