# Why order uncollectible restitution?

Yes, I found it quite amusing that the judge waived the interest and said he “could pay in monthly installments while inside prison and after he gets out.”

I’m imagining him reading it like the voiceover in an infomercial: "Not only are we giving you a full 11% discount off of retail, you can make just 2,666,666 easy installments of only _$150 a month_! And if you call now, we’ll give you a _second_ attack submarine for FREEEEE!!! 😃
