That’s not to say there aren’t conspiracies. This just isn’t one. Hitler conspired to kill Jews, not control the populace through instrumental tuning. Yes, there were efforts to control people through music. However, that was through using certain TYPES of music to elicit patriotic emotions, or whatever emotion desired at the moment. Tuning had nothing to do with it.

And why A, when that’s not even the fundamental note of most instruments? How does A432 help if you don’t play a song that has an A in it? If it’s some bullshit explanation like the other notes being in tune, then you also, as mentioned before, have to specify a temperament to go along with the A432 tuning, as different notes will have different tunings in different temperaments.
Oh, and “Verdi tuning” is C256, not A440. That does not equal A432 except in Pythageorean tuning/temperament, not in use in Verdi’s time (nor now.)
