As a fully qualified Canadian, I have reviewed the thread in question and found some evidence of joshing, but no jerkitude or bullying whatsoever. Glad to have cleared that up for you all, you may all now go about your business. Seriously, if someone had said “Sorry about that” I would have asked “What?” instead of reflexively apologizing. ---

Im with ya, **ellie**. For a website that advertises itself as place for intellectual discourse, its full of obnoxious jerks. As for newbies, try and fight back----some of the well-connected regulars here will whine like bitches and report you to the Mods like snitches and try to get you banned. It can be a despicable place. ---

I have not experienced Scottish Boarding Schools but have played basketball with Prince Charles. His bodyguards didn’t like me whooping his ass but he was a good sport. Returning to BitchFest2015…We love you. Don’t mind our manners, we are actually very polite otherwise. Except at the family table (The BBQ Pit). ---
