Slow? ::Blinkblink:: How the fuck is this SLOW? It’s one of the faster websites I go to (admittedly, also one of the least graphics intensive), and certainly the fastest MB. It’s…really quite fast. ---

This was addressed by **jdavis** in ATMB. The current server is a temporary one, and is not as fast as the old SDMB server. The old server is coming back, he said. Until then, either send the SDMB a new server or cope with it. Then, after the faster SDMB server is back up, see how it runs. ---

It’s not slow, it’s simply toying me. It’s looking at me and thinking, “what can I do to him today?”. It’s a living, breathing beeing, and it has a sence of humor. Today, it would not even let me in at first. I thought “oh crap, it’s down again”. But after a few subsequent attemps, I did get in. So I’m sure this board is just playing tricks on me, and I kinda like it now. It sort of a challenge, to try to figure out what it will do any given day. It’s a battle of wills - the board wants me to go away, but I refuse. I continue to read and post in the face of all the bad jokes it has played on me in the last few months (what with disappearing for a while, than reappearing in temporary land, etc).
