It starts earlier and earlier every year. By the year 2046, it has been statistically proven (read: I made a line graph with crayons) that the Christmas shopping season will begin in July.
Did it occur to you that Christmas is not a part of everyone’s family tradition? That some of us have to put up with two months of bullshit every year of out lives without the payoff? For me, Christmas is an extremely inconvenient pain in the ass. I can’t even go to the market to get a fucking tube of toothpaste without driving around the lot for a half an hour. I know it drives the economy and all but there is not one thing that I personally like about it.
