I just got an email fundraising appeal from the Donald Trump campaign. What the hell? Anybody who knows anything about me knows I despise the man. ---

Fundraisers don’t always hit their target groups with 100% accuracy. I was bewildered/amused to get a 2016 campaign fundraising appeal from Ben Carson, complete with suitable-for-framing portrait to place in my personal Ben Carson shrine. ---

The biggest flaw with email is that you can’t wipe your ass with it and write “Return To Sender” on it. Hopefully space-age future technology will find a way around that. ---

I’m glad that during the presidential campaign I didn’t get any mailings or a knock on my door from either candidate, and was afraid I would since: I’m an independent in Florida, every downballot campaign seems to mail endless ads to me, and I got craploads of inappropriate Facebook group suggestions around the election period (which I assume were promoted by … certain … outside … interest groups.) ---
