Yeah, I thought maybe that was it, but I-45 was almost devoid of traffic this morning.
I’m putting my money on either the Yellowstone caldera going up, or that volcano in Canary islands collapsing and unleashing a giant tsunami.

Your problem was that it was Sunday. They always start that way. I recommend two ounces of Stolichnaya or equivalent; clears it right up. If you can’t obtain the necessary pharmaceuticals because it’s Sunday, well, that just serves to confirm the diagnosis. Be better prepared next time.

I sometimes get this, and I usually can’t find a reason for it. And sometimes there’s some unresolved issue that I’ve pushed out of my head.
And one time it was because I ordered _The Sixth Sense_ on Pay Per View and it was repeating throughout the day. It has a really creepy soundtrack!

Why? What happens then?
I get this feeling every now and then–dread. It’s not a good feeling. I often chalked it up to hormone levels, but since the OP is a man, that explanation is out the window.
Maybe reading about the dead birds and dead fish made you feel a sense of . . . foreboding? I live in FL and the fish thing doesn’t bother me too much because we so often have [red tide](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_tide)here.

Funny, I read about both those incidents only after I posted the OP, so at best I was having a sense of foreboding that a bunch of birds and fish were going to go tits up all at once.

On a (hopefully in your case totally irrelevant) alternate note, apparently when your heart stops beating temporarily (usually because of an arrythmia or minor heart attack or (darkly amusingly) also caused by the \*\*treatments \*\*used to correct the above issues) the major reported symptom by patients is a ‘feeling of nameless dread or impending doom.’
Our brains are a little used to feeling/hearing our pulse, and get subconsciously freaked out when it’s not there any longer.
Maybe check your pulse once in a while to be sure you’re ok?
Otherwise, break out the cryptic writings handbook and start issuing prophecies.
Don’t give any away for free, or you’ll undermine your potential market!
