# why was Kyberneticist banned?

I searched under “Kyberneticist banned” in all forums and “Kyberneticist” in ATMB but didn’t see anything. Sorry if this has already been answered.

What happened?

Basically, he posted some code that could have been converted into a service-denial script.  
The discussion was removed from here.

It continues at OpalCat’s forum:

(Don’t blame me for the title, I’m just reporting it.)

I have no opinion on the cause and effect of the matter, except that Kyberneticist has helped me with coding a few times and I think it’s too bad he’s not on this board any more. I hope they can work it out over time.

You can post questions to him as well. Just do it at Fathom, where he is a regular now. He’s usually starting coding threads in the test areas, where they allow HTML.  
I think he might even be happier over there because of that aspect alone.

tshirts, thanks for the link. I never go to Fathom to read or post (only because the SDMB already sucks enough of my life away…I dont need to start somewhere else).

handy, once again I’m left wondering what you mean. Were you talking to me? if so, why would I email him? I never have before. We aren’t buddies. I was just curious.
