# Why was my thread locked?

I started [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=307366) to point out something ridiculous my local weatherman said.

Because it seemed to be a general “Happy St. Patrick’s Day” thread, and we already had one. That’s all.

Boy, am I confused. Your link goes to a thread that isn’t closed, isn’t yours, and isn’t about the weather. And I can’t find any such thread. Either the mods are intervening or you’re crazy.

Looks like **Scribble** ’s thread wsa merged into the other St. Patrick’s Day thread.
