Not knowing Silverstreak Wonder I have no axe to grind here. But it occurs to me that you have handed him a gift on an, um, silver platter.
An opportunity to interact with real live people will soon educate him. Certainly he must not yet be aware that in groups of people who are in the same room with you, if you complain too much about the way things are done, you are soon in charge of fixing it.

The OP was wrong, he wasn’t a sock.
At least, nobody in a position to know has confirmed that he was a sock, and the reason given for his ban has nothing to do with footgear.

Silverstreak Wonder was unwilling to learn the rules and the culture, yet persisted in taking every opportunity to accuse the Mods and the members here of being tyrannical. Even when actions were explained repeatedly and at length to him, he would not listen to the explanations and preferred his own interpretation - that this board exists to stifle free expression.
I can’t say that I wanted him run off, but I have yet to see a valid contribution to any thread.
We have nothing to suggest he’s been here before.

Sorry if my post was unclear. The reasons were the ones I gave in my first post in this thread: being a jerk and the constant complaints. Not for having other accounts.
And you’re right–it’s not like this rule is new, arbitrary or whatever. It’s been around since 2000…and used more than once.
The first instance of it being used (as far as I know)
There was also a group of people (I suspected they were socks, but never found out) including Mu Mu, Ma Parrot and…um…a third one who pretty much showed up to complain about people being banned and nothing else. They were banned under that rule too.
So…yeah. The mods have history, precedent and a really annoying poster to back up their decision.
