[Name my Baby!/ Your fave name](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=585134) I’m curious. There’s no moderator post explaining why it was closed and I don’t see any of the usual reasons being applicable here. ---

My guess is the OP asked for it to be closed. I can’t imagine why a moderator wouldn’t leave a note to that effect though, so maybe I’m wrong. ---

Hi all, Apparently this was me. Rather oddly, I wasn’t home at this time. All I can guess is that my cat got a lucky break walking on the keyboard/mouse to investigate a yogurt container I forgot. Weird. I’m fairly certain that it’s not a security issue, as this is a computer I bought only a week ago from a trusted source, and it’s got anti-malware software. Still, I’ll check into that possibility just in case. Anyway, re-opened, and sorry for that. I’m honestly pretty confused by the whole thing. ---

The name that was decided upon due to that thread was so awful, so embarrassing that the baby’s future self traveled back in time just so she could hack into **fluiddruid** ’s account and lock the thread at just the right moment to block the crucial post that led to a lifetime of embarrassment. It’s the only logical explanation. ---

She said Jackson was her favorite name for a boy but I didn’t see any final decision, especially since she doesn’t know if it’s a boy or a girl yet… ---

Normally I would doubt the “cat story”, but since I’ve caught my cats trying to order porn on Directv several times, I’m more inclined to believe - as long as you believe my story too. ---
