# Why was the thread about addresses moved?

It is easier to get a poor football player into college than it is to get [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=10023042#post10023042) into a forum. The OP didn’t ask what you think your Prime Minister’s address is or where you think a President should live. I will admit that the OP was open, but considering the Dopers that are from other countries, a lot could be learned by knowing where they are from and the Leader’s address.

Yes, there are factual answers, but they are different for different posters. I just thought it was too open-ended for GQ. You’ll get dozens of different answers.

Because to some extent it was like a poll (asking for responses that depended on one’s personal location), I moved it to IMHO. **Czarcasm** booted it back.

You may get the best response in MPSIMS, where it is now. But I just felt it was too much like asking for info out of the phone book for GQ.

Do you mean a player who plays poorly or a player who hasn’t any money?

I’ve been scratching my head over that one ! 😛
