# Why was ♥x0HOLLiSTER0x♥ banned

Hollister is a popular brand of clothing among the 15-22 set. Probably banned though for being a sock.

As a general rule, we announce bannings of any long-time paid-up member, with explanation. When we’re dealing with socks and trolls, we don’t want to give them any more attention: they thrive on attention, even negative attention, and we don’t want to do anything to encourage them or give them publicity.

Thus, if you have a question about a banning, please email a moderator, we’ll be glad to answer you off-boards.
