There’s the whole twin aspect as well. Just being identical twins adds at least 1.5, maybe 2 points on 1-10 scale of hotness. Yeah, the Olsens aren’t genetically identical, but they certainly look like they are. ---

When they turned 18, I thought the big deal was that now they were in control of their vast fortunes. ---

\ uh, the Olson twins were born June 13, 1986. They will be 24 in six months. I’ve never understood why they are even still relevant. They played cute pre-school age kids for a few years on a sitcom that end 15 years ago. Why are they still in the press? ---

I don’t see them in the press that much now. I see much more of Paris, Kim, Miley, Lindsey, etc. Although it seems Paris is fading out of the press - I even read an article last month talking about her lower profile lately. ---

The one I was a little annoyed about was the guys counting down the time until Emma Watson (Hermione in the Harry Potter movies) turned 18…starting around the first movie. Sheesh, she was 11! Put it back in your pants, guys, seriously. However, that said, she really did turn out to be a beauty. I get tired of the whole “I’d hit it” mentality, but I can certainly see why guys would find her attractive. And her brother is almost prettier than she is. 🙂 ---

Yeah, I’ve heard it claimed that they’re fraternal, too. I can’t tell them apart myself but other people on the Full House youtube vids (er, not that I watch that) seem to be able to do it quite easily. ---

I can say in all honesty, that I never found them attractive. Even when they were young, and the joke was common, I could tell that they wouldn’t grow up to be hot. And they didn’t. I suppose they’re cute. But hot? Not. ---

Most people who know identical twins very well can tell them apart. “Identical” in this case does not mean indistinguishable, but merely that they came from the same zygote. This generally means they will look very, very similar, but all kinds of pre- and postnatal factors can cause minor differences. I know a pair of twins that for years insisted they were fraternal because they had gestated in separate amniotic sacs and placentas. Everyone who knew them was reasonably sure they were identical, but no one was going to argue the point with them. Eventually they discovered that identical twins can indeed have separate placentas and amniotic sacs. So twins aren’t always the best authorities. The Olsen sisters look far more similar to each other than most siblings, and it’s reasonable in this case to believe the evidence of your eyes over what they say, in absence of DNA evidence. > [@Lute Skywatcher](#): > > I don’t see it. I knew two boys who were identical twins. You could absolutely tell it by looking at them. Except they were born two years apart.
