Obviously? Then you should have sent a sexbot rather than a hookerbot.

Well, had I known this before…

I’d like to place an order for an Amy Adams bot, please. Does it come fully assembled?

BTW, how was Equus?

No idea–didn’t see it. I have no particular interest in seeing Harry Potter’s schlong, thanks. 🙂

Do you know how Bob Saget tells them apart? Ashley swallows.
I think it is just comedy fodder. They are not unattractive, but if I’m going to be lusting after celebrities I can’t have, there are much prettier.

Elin, Tiger’s wife has an identical twin sister. She’s a lawyer.

Jill Hennessy, the gal from early Law and Order and Crossing Jordan has an identical twin sister who sometimes does stand in work for Jill. Apparently she is not as good an actress.

Oh, and Jose Canseco has an identical twin brother, Ozzie. But you can tell them apart because Ozzie isn’t a raging asshole.

> They are fraternal. I have no reason to believe that their family is lying. I have no reason to believe that their family is lying. My kids can actually tell them apart easily, but I have to strain.

Who said anything about lying? You don’t have to believe me of course, but I said I have personal experience of a family being honestly mistaken on this subject, so I trust visual evidence more than what amounts basically to hearsay.

“Identical” in the case of twins does not mean they have no distinguishing traits; it means merely that they developed from a single zygote. This results in them looking much more alike than most siblings (as you say, you have to strain to tell them apart) Even infant identical twins have differences, and they acquire even more differences as they age. But according to some of the latest research, [monozygotic twins](http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=identical-twins-genes-are-not-identical) may not even be identical at a genetic level. (Hmm, one of those babies appears to have more hair and a less prominent chin than the other.)
Here’s a picture of [Nicholas and Kelly Brendon](http://img.poprosa.com/2008/10/nicholas-y-kelly-brendon1.jpg), identical twins, on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Even though they are styled identically and the premise of the episode hinges on them looking alike, their faces appear slightly different due to angle, expression and lighting, and because they are _actually different people_. Here’s a [casual photo](http://www.zapster.it/biografia/Nicholas-Brendon/poster-1). Now imagine if one gained weight and the other lost, they died there hair different colors, and one started wearing goth makeup. No one would say they looked identical. One’s face would even look rounder than the other! But they wouldn’t magically become fraternal twins.

How the eff did I not know that Telma Hopkins was one of the Dawns? This is the type of trivia on for which I pride myself! 🙂

I’m saying (apparently, twice in the same post, since I don’t seem to edit that well) that if their family has reason to believe that they are not homozygous, then the fact that they have an unnaturally strong resemblance doesn’t trump that, unless I want to believe that they are deluded. I have known siblings who resembled each other as much as they do. It could be that they are wrong, but I would assume that they have something factual to base their claim on, such as genetic testing. Otherwise, they’d have no reason to claim that in the first place. I would think that being identical would raise their uniqueness level.
