# Why won't IE let me download Mozilla or Firefox?

Whenever I try to download either of these, I get the dreaded “You are not authorized to view this page”, 403 forbidden message. I’ve tried messing around with various settings on my Internet Options/Advanced thingy, to no avail. What gives?

I’m sick as a dog so I’m off to bed with Prince Codeine and I probably won’t be able to check back in until tomorrow, but I REALLY appreciate any suggestions y’all might have.

Oh, I have IE 6.0 on a PC…

I encountered this problem when I worked on a neighbor’s computer that was seriously infected with spyware. If you try the download link that **ouryL** suggested and that doesn’t work, I’d say spyware is your problem.
