From your Apple menu, click “Software Update…” Be prepared to enter your password, spend a long while downloading updates (you can do other stuff during the download), and then restart. You’ll be able to upgrade to 10.4.11 (you may want to consider 10.5, but that’s a different topic), and at least Safari 3.x. (Safari’s current version is 4.3.2, I believe, but I don’t know if 4.x is 10.5-only.) Lots of good stuff in Safari 3, and the software update will give you lots of other Apple updates and bug fixes. ---

So now it is doing it with the progress bar, which will take hours. We’ll see if that works! ---

Yeah, my Mac geek says I need to do this too, but being on dial up I keep putting it off. I’m doing the YouTube upload right now, so I’ll leave this window open to remind me to do the others later tonite. ---

OK, I did this and am now on 10.4.11 and Safari 3.0.4 and suddenly some of my webpages (that I wrote myself) don’t load all the pictures on. Any idea what that is?? ---
