# Why would anyone pay MORE for a gift card

Honestly, it’s probably underage people with access to a PayPal account but not a credit card.

Either their parents put funds in the child’s PayPal account or their account is linked to their parents bank account. Or they were like me and made money via PayPal but still didn’t have a credit card.
