In vet school, I learn about Chromo-dacryorrhea in rats: red tears. That is just freaky.

In French, roosters say “cocorico!” Also, turkeys go “glou glou glou” and pigs go “groin groin”. Cows say “meuh” and I think birds say “cui cui”. I have actually used this knowledge, once, when I was exceedingly exhausted and trying to convey to the Sandwich Artiste somewhere in France that I wanted a turkey sandwich, only I forgot what the word for turkey is (dindon, although for all I know that’s just a live bird) and waggled my arms and said “glou glou glou!” I got a turkey sandwich, anyway, but oddly enough it had ketchup on it. I didn’t care, as I had never before nor since been so hungry.
