Yikes at everyone in this thread. Sure hope y’all have evolved your way of thinking since then, but still. Nobody in the 21st century should be excusing a man raping his comatose wife just because they’re married. Spousal rape is still rape. The days where marriage automatically conferred ownership over a woman’s body are long gone. I’m shocked at the people rationalizing what is unequivocally an illegal and immoral act, regardless of the relationship between the perpetrator and the victim. In fact, most women are raped by an intimate partner and I can see why so few of them are willing to report their assault to the police if the general attitude is that your partner doesn’t need your consent to have sex with you. Oh and levdragon must be a rapist IRL. I’m not sure how else you explain a man getting so hysterical over the concept of concept to the point that he categorizes women who don’t want to be raped as “treating their vaginas like sacraments”. That’s not just dumb logic, that’s a rapist’s logic. ---
