I would agree that plenty of other young women are at least equally attractive, but it’s not like her parents’ behavior would be acceptable if their daughter really were the prettiest girl in town. ---

I don’t know a lot about the world of pageantry, but it’s not _just_ about being the prettiest – it’s also about having the “right” style of clothes/hair/makeup, walking the right way, talking the right way, and coming across as poised and confident. ---

There’s blame on her. Even if the parents are kooky, at some point in her mid to late teens she should have taken stock of her life and wondered where it was headed towards. More pageants? All of those girls are in college so she better get her butt into college. No more pageants? Great. Do work… at your parents’ window tinting business? Screw that? Dance professionally? Something. I’m sure if you asked 16 year old Alicia what she wanted to do, it wasn’t “I’ll strip and prostitute part time.” Put it another way. You can try to keep your child in diapers forever but up to a point the kid will say “no. i don’t want to do this anymore. it’s weird. i’m growing up.” this could be her moment. She’s a vile, self-centered harpy for sure but her life isn’t completely ruined. She’s only 20. ---

If a female is not morbidly obese, dyes her hair a strange shade of blonde paired with a spray tan and implants, she is “hot” no matter how unfortunate her face may be. Coupled with her loser parents pumping her head full of nonsense and catering to her every whim, she has been so sheltered from reality she hasn’t had much of a chance. I feel sorry for her. She has no life skills, has not been prepared for the world by her parents and does not appear to be very bright. To top it all off, she’s average looking with little to no education. The world is full of fake blonds with spray tans and boob jobs. In a few years, based upon what her parents look like, she’s going to have trouble keeping her weight in line. She hasn’t done anything besides stand around and look what she thinks is pretty, so she can’t even make it as a good prostitute. Good prostitutes are smart, sharp, educated and don’t get paid in the morning. ---
