Our 6th child is due July 20th. Most have been early. All have been quick. The shortest delivery being 65 minuites. The last two were born at home, this one will be too. (unless we’re on the I-10 freeway) The births have been: boy girl boy girl boy ??? Baby one was 3 weeks early. 7 lbs 14 oz Two was two weeks early. 8lbs 4oz Three was a day early 8lbs 6oz Four was a day late 9lb 1oz Five was two weeks early. 8lb 8 oz So, guess the following: Day of birth gender weight and anything else you want to guess. I’ll provide updates often and post withing a few hours of the birth. Roadwalker ---

It’s going to be a baby woman! Date of birth: July 14 weight 7lb. 4oz. 23 inches long a chin like her Dad’s I just noticed the size of child #4. It’s a good thing she wasn’t more than a day late! Do you call her Tex? 🙂 Best of luck to all of you! ---

Very nornal. btw our midwife does all the prenatal and we don’t see a doctor. We can hear the heartbeat with the stethoscope we have. Very cool. Just had a birthday party today for Benjamin who is now 6. He was born in Budapest, Hungary in the middle of the night. doesn’t remember a word of the language ---

DOB: July 10th Weight: 8lb, 6oz. Gender: Boy I echo the previous post, got any names picked out? If I could have had children, only one of each, I would have done like my paternal grandmother an given them two middle names, the better to squeeze in the ones I wanted. A boy would be Thomas for several reasons(the disciple, More, et al.), Desmond(for the South African archbishop), John(for a 1968 Olympics Tanzanian marathon runner, last in the race) For a girl I would go Biblical. Judith(from the Apocrypha), Esther(from the book, and also my beloved grandmother), Ruth(from the book, also an aunt.) Keep us informed! Tell your wife you are supposed to wait on her hand and foot! After all, she’s doing the hard part! ---

All our kids have biblical names. the first four from the Old Testament. David Harrison (we call him Harrison) Naomi Caroline _Naomi passed away in December of last year after a 3 1/2 year battle with cancer._ Benjamin Fraizer (I call him BoomBoom. He was so strong as a newborn he could hold his head up.) Sarah Marie (named in an ambulance rather than be called Jane Doe) James Michael (Jamie) We do not have a name picked out. We’re consiodering several. We think we ought to stay New Testament, but we’re not bound. We will stay biblical, however. We never have been fixed on a name until after we’ve had the baby and checked it out and tried out names. but you all can still feel free to suggest… ---

Girls: Abigail, Bethany, Candace, Damaris, Deborah, Delilah, Eden, Eve, Hannah, Leah, Phoebe, Rachel, Rebecca, Ruth, and Tamar. A mix of Old and New Testament.
