Lots of nice names. Some are on our short list also. As with most of the previous pregnancies, my wife is having contractions every day and night. They can be strong, and even regular, but they never last. ---

girl july 4th 7 lb 4 oz y’all have used my fav. o.t. name for a girl already, my back up fav. is miriam. just checking “beyond jennifer and jason” here. i’ll stick to the biblical ot and nt. super pink feminissima names: elissa, jessica, tabitha, feminine but not too froo froo: abigail, deborah, dorothea, joanna, shoshana, susannah, no frills female: dorcas, esther, hannah, hester, leah, martha, mary, rachel, thus far you have used girl names on the feminine but not too froo froo and the no frills list. very smart to wait to see the baby, sometimes that can rule out a name really fast. just in case here are some boys: macho names: samson, ram manly names: andrew, daniel, john, joseph, mark, paul, peter, phillip, samuel, stephen, thomas, new manly names (unmistakenly male, not to muscle bound or radical): aaron, abner, adam, amos, ari, asher, barnabus, bartholomew, caleb, eli, elia, elias, elijah, elisha, ephraim, ezra, gabriel, gideon, isaac, isaiah, jacob, jared, jedidiah, jeremiah, jesse, jonah, jonathan, joshua, josiah, jude, levi, luke, matthew, micah, moses, nathan, nathaniel, noah, raphael, seth, solomon, simon, thaddeus, timothy tobiah, zachariah, i don’t think you need the names from the “wimpy name” list. i hope all goes well for all of you, and girl or boy may the baby be healthy and have many happy, healthy, wonderful years. ---

It is just an old wives-tale, **Roadwalker**. Palms up would indicate a female child because she will carry the burden of many and be helpful Palms down indicates a male in that he will transfer duty to others. Not my creation. Just something I heard yonks ago and have tried a few times… mostly correct. ---

Most of my kids have had lots of hair, good prediction. I’m doing land surveying work sometimes up to two hours from home now. Shortest delivery was 65 minuites. So NOW I’m nervous. ---
