I thought I’d posted, but I can’t find the thread. Mrs. L.A.'s [uncle is still missing](http://news.yahoo.com/roads-reopen-most-stuck-vehicles-freed-california-mud-100834955.html) after a flash flood the night of 15 October. AFAIK, they’ve called off the search; but family members have been going out. The original search area was 100 yards wide, half a mile long, and up to six feet deep in mud. ---
