Whew…I finally got my membership card in the mail today stating that I am officially in The International Thespian Society, chapter 6310. Then my sister, being the smartie that SHE is, decided that I’m too stupid to figure out how to get the membership card off the acceptance letter. So she peels away… RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP. Thanks, sis. I am now a member of the: Ernational Ian Society Oh well. Don’t worry…I am by no means a great actor…and too bad stuff before 6th grade doesn’t count, even if it is voluntary…sigh…such is life. Any other Dopers members of the International Thespian Society? Proud to be a Thespian Thespians do it on stage BTW…I AM a guy…not gay…guy. ---

I’m a Thespian and have been for two and a half years. My specialties happen to be in the Techie realm, but that’s because I prefer the backstage area over center stage in the acting realm… there’s more dirt behind the curtain than you think. 😉 P.W. Doodle, I’ve always wanted to do it on stage too… what a small world. ---

I have done both behind and in front of the curtain work…and trust me…I KNOW how much stuff goes on back there in the blue mood lighting. It was the funniest thing I’d ever seen…14 people on one couch…then without warning, the count flattened. The legs gave way, the side fell perfectly out, the back fell perfectly back…it was hilarious and completely cartoon style. Apparently thespians do it on stage, BEHIND the curtains. Oh well. And P.W…once a member…always a member. ---

I’m a would-be actress and techie, but not a member of the International Thespian Society…and, speaking of techie stories, remind me to tell you about the night Hell was full… :eek:
