I was making an analogy between a freshly-fertilized egg and a stem cell to highlight the irony of agonizing over killing an innocent life, when one is considering only a collection of cell matter with no central nervous system and, thus, no possibility of any consciousness. I then sarcastically alluded to the folly of prioritizing dogma over the basic rights of the victim of a violent crime. Please explain how any of this is “stupid”, oh wise sage. ---

Reasons I Find **Hairy’s** Posts ‘Stupid’ and the Poster to be Tedious _(The short list)_ By request of the **Mr. Potter** himself: [ul]-“ Hey, if stem cells have rights…” Taken literally, this is inane beyond comprehension. Harry has explained that he coded it with subtle irony. Fine, now it’s an inane strawman, as no person in the thread used an ‘all stem cells should live free’ argument to justify their opposition to abortion. Using such tactics, even if you share my opinion, is unfair to the opposition, and I’d prefer not to be associated with them. -“are you a lawyer, or do you just behave obnoxiously as a hobby?” I don’t really take kindly to the obnoxious remark, but I’ll leave it to an attorney to flame him for the lawyer = obnoxious equation. -“…when one is considering only a collection of cell matter with no central nervous system and, thus, no possibility of any consciousness. A question I forgot to ask, **Hairy** : Why was your original comment directed at me anyway? It seems you wanted a response from me, which I gave. Were you agreeing with me? If so, then did you not note my problem with the inflammatory language used in **pkbites** post? Surely you didn’t think I’d be a hypocrite and _welcome_ similar language from the other camp. ---

Might I politely point out that this is a Pit rant about **Wildest Bill** , those of you who are apparently absolutely fixed on having a fucking debate about abortion, rapists, stem cells and the fucking constitution - there’s a dandy whole 'nother forum for such things, and I dare say, no shortage of threads on those topics. bill, Answer Ruadh’s question. aside from that, let me tell you something. If you call Israeli terrorists “Filthy jews” if the kill Palistinians? If so you Are insulting all Jewish people, because te are from the same ethnic background as the terrorists. If you call ETA bombers “Spick fuckers” if the detonate a car bomb in a crowded street, you are insulting to all Spanish people, because they are from the same ethnic backgound as the terrorists. The reason I used “was” instead of “is” is because I am not taking it anymore. And what “it” was is called clenbuterol which is a asthma medication that has some remarkable benefits for bodybuilding. It not only burns fat it also increases muscle mass but it is not considered a steroid. Now that is a cool compound. The only problem I had because I was taking 120mcg a day is it made me irritable so I quit taking it. Now you know what I was taking - happy? As far as the question about the abortion clinic and trade center. I will try to answer it as I understood it. If I get it wrong for some reason, I know someone will tell me that I did. I said I understood what was going on in the minds of abortion clinic bombers. They are freak’n out that this country has stooped to the morality level it has by allowing the taking of innocent lives because it is not convienient to have them. So in their outrage because they once knew this as a moral country they lash out at the clinics(usually empty) trying to try to stop further legal murders. Now as far the Middle Eastern fella’s that crash into big office buildings(that are very full of people)killing innocent people because of their religion. I don’t get at all other than they have a very violent religion if it indeed causes them to do such things. ---
