Pepperland girl, How do you know the things you are writing about? Are you a Christian? Or have you just read parts of the Bible? Also I meant to type the New Jerusalem is 1500 miles high. But I wasn’t quite sure on the spelling so I just wrote Heaven? ---

Personally, I love the way people are telling him he’s being a bad Christian, but instead of taking a step back and saying, “Whoa, maybe I ought to stop and take stock,” he says, “Well I’m not perfect, and you’re all wrong, and a bunch of boogerheads, and I’m going to heaven, so nanny-nanny-poo-poo!” I would forgive the latter if it weren’t for the fact that everyone - including his fellow Christians - weren’t pointing this out to him. There comes a point when, if the majority of people (let alone all of them) tell you something, guess what? _They might actually be right!_ Ugh. Esprix ---

Well, **Bill** , I used to be, before I realized it was just a fantasy created by society because of a collective fear of an unknown, and in order to control the masses. I recall Jesus saying something about “Love your neighbor as you would love me.” Maybe that’s not a direct quote, but I think you’ll recgonize it. And of course, what **Guin** brought up about you will not be saved for your works alone. But let’s just pretend that you are absolutely right, **Bill**. I find it absolutely disturbing and frightening that people need the threat of eternal damnation to behave in a respectful and loving manner toward their fellow man. You, **Bill** are the type of person who needs religion in order to stay under control. Unfortunately, the way the Christian religion is set up, (or rather, the way you believe it to be organized) even animals (not the literal animals) can use a “Get Out of Jail Free” card. Did you ever stop and think, Bill, that each religion considers itself the TRUE religion? By that reason, none of them can be the true religion-they must ALL be true. To my mind, each religion is the same, but a different way of worshipping God. God sends out various messengers-be they Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Pagan, etc etc… God is much deeper than you think. Bill, the reason we hound you about is because you’re constantly throwing it around that you’re a Christian, and, therefore, we should be too. BUT, you don’t set a good example. And I refuse to accept any belief system that would send someone to eternal damnation for believing in the “wrong” religion. The people who say Ghandi is burning in hell, because-hey, yeah, he was great and Christ-like, but ooops! He wasn’t a Christian. Fuck that shit. ---

Guin, Answer the questions please. Do you believe that you are a sinner? Do you believe Christ died for “your” sins? And the only way to Heaven is through Him? Do you beleive that or not?
