I am not here long enough to notice **Wildest Bill** ’s better qualities. My perspective, for what that is worth, is that he flies a lot of kites in these forums, that he knows he is wrong most of the time, and that he likes the storm of controversy which he stirs up. I am also never sure whether he ‘sticks around’ to keep his kite aloft. One thing seems certain to me, which is that if his post count is in the low digits, people will not be so willing to accept him. ---

Have you not seen me calling in several threads for decisive military action to call to accountability not just the perpetrators of Tuesday’s action but terrorists in general? Wildest Bill provides the valuable service of letting us all know what it’s like to be on the other side of the bell curve. It gets too sheltered in here sometimes and you get the impression everyone knows how to punctuate, spell, and support their opinions. Bill reminds us that the rest of the world isn’t like that. They are dumb and they have guns, and they don’t think too good. Example number one Bill appears to have just posted. **Wildest Bill** Go find a liberal - any liberal - and ask them if they feel worse about the terrorists or about the innocent civilians who died on the planes. Get back to me if you find a single one who sides with the terrorists. Are you nuts? Are you really so stupid? Does “opposition to the death penalty” and “a fair trial with proper legal representation” just blend in your mind to mean that liberals LOVE terrorism? Liberals, as a rule, do NOT support terrorism. I’m surprised someone would need to tell you that. ---

Ino, Why is that sexy writer can say all kink of vile nasty crap to me but when I say some nasty crappy stuff to her in retaliation(I am taking about alot crap I have taken from that chick) that I am a bad person for doing so. Because you represent yourself to the SDMB as a born-again Christian and are thus held to a higher standard, that’s why. If it isn’t fair, consider that it’s a position you yourself chose. If you don’t want to be held to a higher standard, don’t represent yourself as a pious person. Just look at what we atheists are able to get away with. Anyhoo, I support full GLBT rights, gay marriage, am pro-choice, am anti-capital punishment, and have never in my adult life voted for a Republican. You tell me how liberal I am. If my position _vis a vis_ terrorists seems to contradict my stance on capital punishment, it is because I consider this a matter for the military, not the criminal justice system. ---
