Oh and let us not forget that for years on All in the Family the Bunkers’ spiritual advisor was the Reverend Felcher.

There was a show called Doctor, Doctor back in the 80’s that stared Matt Frewer. He had a great line about ‘pole-vaulting in the grand canyon’.

Isn’t “tits” just dialect for “teats”? I never thought it was dirty, just a little coarse…like saying ‘crap’. I wouldn’t quite equate it with words like “dick” and “ass”.

I still say the most shocking line I saw was on an episode of M_A_S\*H from 1973.

Hawkeye walks in on Hot Lips giving Frank a massage with a vibrating massager.

**He says, "Just like I always said, ‘Behind every successful man is a woman with a good vibrator.’"**

I saw it last year. Still can’t believe they got that on the air in 1973.

One of the most shocking things I’ve ever seen on television was on Conan O’Brian. And I’m not talking about the masturbating bear. It was when they were introducing “new characters” on the show and one of them was “Camel Toe Annie.” And they had a woman come out and she was dancing around in these tight pants and they had stuffed something in the front of her pants so that she had this huge, well, camel toe.

That’s not even the dirtiest line from that episode.

After the defeat of the aliens, a newspaper headline appeared:

BALLS THOROUGHLY LICKED!

There was also a line from The Simpsons that I liked. I forget exactly what it was, but it had principal Skinner tell a hamster (or other small rodent) to gnaw through his ball sack.

The episode was “Goldilocks and the Three Barristers”, from the second season. Grace Van Owen (Susan Dey) was District Attorney prosecuting a case in which a stripper had been hired for a bachelor party that turned ugly. Three male lawyers were being charged with sexual assault on the stripper and at one point, Van Owen described their behaviour as (among other things) yelling at the stripper to “show us your tits!”

Pretty risqué for 1987.

My memory of this is quite clear, but I can’t find a specific cite on the internet describing the scene.

“Cleveland Steamer” mystifies me, too. It does, however, remind me of a _60 Minutes_ episode at least 25 years ago that featured an article about diplomatic immunity abuses. There was an interview with a senior NYC police officer who had gotten into a dustup with some scofflaw diplomat wife and arrested her. A member of her consulate had demanded an apology:

Cop:…so I told him he could go pound salt.
Dan Rather (I assume, it might have been one of the others): “Pound salt?” Can you tell us what that means?
Cop: On television? It ain’t happy birthday.

My sister and I immediately cracked up, though neither of us knew (and I still don’t) what “pound salt” means.

Is a Cleveland Steamer anything like The Dreaded Rear Admiral?

Also, the snowed-in episode of the Simpsons where Principal Skinner gets stuck in a gym bag and says “Quick! Chew through my ball sack!”

Geez, and on the DVDs they say how Fox didn’t even like when Bart said “hell”.

I think the full phrase would be “go pound salt up your a\*\*,” although I’ve only heard that with “sand” and not “salt.”

Someone mentioned on that on “The Shield” it ended one episode with the f\*ck bomb. It is’nt true. What happened was Dutchboy caught a glimpse of the cop he has a crush on kissing Michael Chikilis’s character and he says: “You gotta be shittin’ me”.

dirtyest line ever:

buzz lightyear star comand… a DISNEY cartoon.

XR (a robot) is asleep, they shake him awake, hes all dazed and says “I swear judge! I didn’t know she was under warrenty!” yikes!!!

and I think I didn’t hear it right, but on fairy odd parents today… it seemed like they randomly cut to the father talking to billy and saying “… and so, thats where babys come from” and billy is like “what is the machine for?” and the father says “I’ll tell you when your older”… I think I missed something… but derr… sounded bad… (well on that show when the girl fairy was going to explode from not useing magic the guy fariy made some sorta referances to him explodeing if he didn’t have sex)
