shenryu - not haiku Just think “Obama” let it settle on yer tongue go find somewhere else Haiku should have a topic of NATURE (and be in the 5-syllable/7 syllable/5 syllable pattern) shenryu is same pattern, but need not involve nature (shaking head over sad definitions of haiku) but what did I expect? ---

He said “the Sherriff is NEAR!” rofl “He rode a blazing saddle he wore a shining star” Shit. Blazing Saddles - you couldn’t get away with it TODAY! yet it was done back then… amazing Marley - I think Straight Dope should sponsor a “contest for Obama-bashing shenryu” it’s just like Haiku - only Diffurnt… deals with people rather than nature same number of syllables per line Circle Drive-Inn has become the haunt of flea markets at one time tho - Circle, Waco, and Joy (dollar a carload) Drive-Inns were the passion pits of the day ---
