Every time the anti-Obama crowd claims to have a smoking gun it turns out to be a water pistol. I’m a tepid Obama fan in general but seriously, if \*\*this \*\*is the worst stuff this guy is doing he’s doing an _awesome_ job compared to previous administrations. ---

No, he’s not like Nixon, not even close. THat’s my opinion. Less important than my opinion is what the media decide to portray him as. They can turn him into Pol Pot if they want to. Just to show they can. You don’t cross the media. ---

I see in this morning’s paper that Stephens, after sending a cable asking for additional security, then turned down an offer by General Ham of a special military team to bolster his defenses. _Twice_. This sort of throws a grenade into Issa and McCain’s little cabal, now doesn’t it? ---
