No cite but I read that there has been a noticeable rise in the number of infections in women (I assume in the genital area) caused by wearing thongs. Apparently bacteria from the anus gets onto the thong when it rises up and transfers itself forward. If absaloutley asked to I expect I can dig up a cite but the subject doesn’t interest me overmuch so I would rather not bother. But it seems to indicate that ingesting your own shit through any orifice is not a particulary good idea. ---
