# Will I be able to watch the Inauguration live online?

I will most likely be in the process of moving. I won’t have cable (or a tv!,) but I will have internet access.

Don’t know much about Joost, but [this](http://mashable.com/2009/01/14/watch-obama-inaugural-address/) article seems to indicate that they will be showing it online…

There may be overseas news sources that will broadcast. On 9/11, that’s how I got most of my information when the US sites overloaded.

They’ve already warned us at work that we’re not permitted to watch the inauguration online (they’ve set up a tv in one of the conference rooms so we can watch); they’re afraid it will overload our servers, I guess. So if you’re planning to watch online, have a backup plan in case your primary site goes down.
