LOL, I’m pretty much a Gaga hater, but not only is Gaga more attractive than Octomom, she is certainly more real and less plastic. I find Octomom quite hideous actually, her whole face looks “done” and her lips certainly are. ---

Of course not. The couture lines are, though. I was at Saks last night and saw all kinds of crazy ass shoes (thanks to YSL), as well as tons of colorful lace in weird cuts, sequins, pointy shoulder pads, and more. The only super trendy thing Gaga really hasn’t jumped on is the military craze, but beyond that, I assure you that kids are in fact wearing Gaga inspired stuff whether they realize it or not. Are they coming out in dresses made out of bubbles? No, it’s far more subtle than that. Just like how Michael Jackson’s death led to a huge resurgence of military jackets that is STILL going on now. ---

Gaga is obviously playing with images of sexuality. For instance, the images of her that have the most skin are often most jarring and off-putting, while the images with the least skin are among the most sensual. PS sorry about the multi-multi-post. I’m glad I’m not the only one who found Devilsknew’s fawning over “Octomom”'s seemingly irresistible fertility more than a little creepy… And on that note, I’m in Australia and before this thread had no idea who or what “Octomom” was. Meanwhile Lady Gaga is one of the most talked-about people on the planet, has appeared on the cover of every major music/lifestyle/culture/youth magazine published, and sells out stadium tours around the globe. I can’t believe anyone would argue with any degree of conviction that she’s not, perhaps, the most famous woman in the world right now (let alone that her fame is overshadowed by “Octomom”? I mean, seriously?). ---
