I have some lye that the police haven’t yet confiscated to keep everybody from making, er, whatever that drug is. At any rate, I also have some slow draining plumbing. It costs me 80 bucks to have it unclogged, and it’s been 5 years since I had to do that, but, I figure 80 bucks is 80 bucks, and I have the lye here, so… At any rate, I can’t remember if PVC can be harmed by lye, so if I toss it down the drink, will I be looking at 5000 dollars for a new system, or will I be looking at a fast draining sewerline?
