It really was. I loved that program, though I was embarrassed for my country. (That said, one of the exclusion criteria from being a contestant was knowing anything about space travel. The final contestants were told the “craft” had “artificial gravity” and they all believed it.)
As to the OP, if Big Brother is anything to go by, I think they’ll end up in countless petty squabbles and the entire experiment will collapse into disorder with someone leaving or being removed.
Or they’ll all gang up and kill one of their party, and they’ll all feast on his liver.
Looks like they’ve built a scale model of the facility.
