Yes, my first NASCAR race that I ever watched was the one where Earnhardt died. Hubby had gotten me to watch just by chance (he hardly ever watched either.) I’ve been hooked ever since, simply because I got interested in the strategies and personalities. Of course, a large part of our Sunday afternoon tradition is turning on the race, watching 30-40 laps, then falling asleep until the last 30-40 laps. We call it NAPCAR.
