I’m sorry, John Mace, I had no intention of implying that the “Por la Raza…” quote was difficult to find in MEChA websites. I meant to imply that the motto (La Union Hace La Fuerza) had been difficult to find in MEChA websites. My “Sorry. I’m an idiot” post that you quoted was supposed to clear up the confusion, by identifying the source of my confusion; namely, my ineffective search strategy that included the English translation in the search string. When I removed the English translation, and searched only for “La Union Hace Fuerza,” I got a TON of hits, several of which linked to the websites of MEChA chapters.

Oh yeah that pledge decision was such a BS ruling. I mean, having the state lead a mantra announcing the close relationship between the country and God is such a stunning example of the seperation of church and state.

BS they may be, but court rulings they are. They have the status of law until and unless overturned. I hope you can take that seriously.
