Will the media get tired of doing zombies?

They won’t get tired of doing zombies. The audience will get tired of seeing movies about zombies. And a new fad will take its place.

Movies get made because the people involved think there’s an audience for them. Take away the audience, and they’ll make something else.

I’ve more or less stopped watching The Walking Dead because of this. It’s a great show in terms of story lines and acting, but watching people living in a zombie apocalypse gets tedious after awhile.

Yeah, anymore the zombies are hardly even part of the plot.

What they need to introduce is some sort of “smart” zombie so the zombies again become a true villain like the Governor.

Archie Comics is doing Zombies.
I think that pretty much proves that the fad is coming to an end.
