# Will the US congress ever ban cryptos?

I disagree - the only value crypto has is in its potential legitimacy. People are investing in it because they think it will be used as regular currency in the future. Without that, the bubble will pop.

Some crypto is used by industry. Several large banks are already using Ripple to speed up and cheapen transactions with each other.
