I just saw Chuck Todd on Morning Joe talking about how he’s not sure if we’ll see someone concede tonight. What do you dopers think? By tonight I mean by midnight. ---

If the polls are accurate, it’s quite likely. Obama has clear-cut leads in the states he needs to win: OH, WI and NV so even if other swing states are very close the election itself could be called quite early. Of course if the polls are off, it could be a long night. ---

Tough one. I was going to say that there wouldn’t be a concession speech before all of the polls closed, and Alaska stays open until midnight Eastern, but apparently McCain conceded at 11:15 Eastern in 2008, and I expect Obama to be “over the top” right at 11:00 Eastern, just like in 2008.
